1. About us

Niftee-Tron Enterprises consists of one designer, one programmer, and one cat. The designer and programmer are, in fact, one person - Charles "Option•8" Mangin. The cat's name is Kudzu.
We create simple, fun, bare-bones interactive software, intended to be at least as fun to play with as it is to program. All Niftee-Tron products are free to use and distribute - a little philosphy we call Floppyware. Almost all work on these nuggets is done on the weekends, between watching cartoons and cleaning house. Imagine if we did this full time?
All Niftee-Tron creations are built in Macromedia Director, using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for the graphics.
2. About the Aggrivator

I decided to create this game as a challenge to determine if I could program a puzzle that even I couldn't solve. Well, I managed to do just that.
Okay, I lied. I have, indeed, managed to solve the Aggrivator. Once. The most aggrivating part is that the rules are so simple, but the solution is fiendishly difficult. I will make this only slightly more difficult by not explaining the rules. You figure it out.
The Aggrivator, like all Niftee-Tron creations, is Floppyware. We, the authors of the Aggrivator encourage you to put it on a floppy disk, make as many copies as you like, and give them to friends. You may use and distribute Floppyware products freely. If this program makes you smile, laugh, or just giggle a little, please send the author some email at option8@mindspring.com.
3. Miscellaneous

The most recent versions of Niftee-Tron's work can be found online (both via the Web and FTP) at niftee-tron.com. All are compressed with Stuffit or WinZip.
The Niftee-Tron Enterprises staff works exclusively on Macintosh to create and update their creations. Currently, there are both PC and Mac versions of many of the Niftee-Tron creations. However, those of us that like to think different prefer the Macintosh for both work and play.
Some Niftee-Tron creations (notably the Pong-o-Matic) can be viewed on the World Wide Web in Shockwave format. This means you can play with them on any computer, so long as you have an Internet connection, a web browser and a Shockwave plugin (available from www.macromedia.com)
